American must be thinking that this is really a small cased. Americans can even bomb Chinese Embassy by using its advanced jet.
Americans must be regretting that they should have crashed both two Chinese jet down and thrown some bombs to Hainan Island where it landed.

The US is indeed responsible for the dangerous maneuvers of its pilots and for the missing pilot.
I hope that the searching ships and planes will find him alive.
The American president did react very arrogant All he did talk about was the airplane and it's 24 crewmembers, not even mentioning the missing pilot

I think President Jiang is absolutely right. I don't always agree with the Chinese government, which is one of the reasons I came here to the US. But in this particular matter, I think Chinese government should absolutely stand firm and demand respect from the bullying US government, although ironically again I am actually in general for the Bush administration. The US plane was in Chinese territory and engaging in anti-China activities. What right have they got to make any demands after their plane crashed the Chinese plane and landed on Chinese soil without any authorization? Are they expecting China to encourage and provide assistance for their spy activities? That's ludicrous. Besides, I don't hear the US government express much humanitarian concern for the downed Chinese pilot or China's territory severity at all. All they have been talking about are their crews, their plane, their secret, and their territory severity. That's totally hypocritical and contradicts their claim of respect for human rights and China's own territory sovereignty.

I agree with President Zemin. President Bush's hard line with China has certainly provoked this conflict, and it is likely that the American aircraft was violating Chinese airspace during its flight. However, the accident itself did occur in international airspace, and China should not have tarnished its international image by acting uncooperative after the emergency landing.

this is really unacceptable when I heard the news that President Bush hold a Press conference in Washington, and only require china return their spy plane and crew members without expressing apologies and concern about the still missing china pilot.
it will be difficult to solve this problem if US side does not say sorry to china and promise they will not invade china airspace again.
If someone made the same mistake two times on you, what do you think you should do next. the answer is FIGHT BACK.

President Jiang said what Chinese people want to say.
Imagine if the Chinese plane landed in American soil, what the American would say?
The 24 American people are lucky. Americans complaint everything even it's their fault.
I hope Chinese government can do better public relation in the future.
Chinese can interview each crewmember individually, to verify the truth and show the interview the public media.
Of course this should done before all of them are under one opinion.
Why the Chinese media don't visit the relatives of the missing pilot? It's very important to get the public sympathy.
