I feel the US should apologise for the incident, after all, they were "spying" and immediately after China should return all the air crew.
However, when China has completed it examination of the aircraft, this also should be returned to the USA, just like the US returned the Soviet MIG (i.e. in bits in crates!)

mourn for a yong life of our beloved pilot who is protecting us.maybe the same age as me and he must have his parents and many relations and friends, what will prevent us from being angry at those who only care about the return of their campatriots while feel nothing at a young life of the same humanbeing. what if it's an American pilot?! is it so difficult or unbelievable to make appologise to what leads to the sad result?

I want to say somthing about spy. Yes, there are spies all around the world but the spy is not a spy when the spy is unknow to the FBI or other Gov. department. This time the fact is we Chinese catched the spy fight and we give a way for you US to solve the problem---to APOLOGIZE. I think you US will do the same thing under this situation. Don't forget,the US just drive some Russian spies out the US.

A prisoner in America only has the right to make one phone call. China not only had already allowed the American crew to be met by embassy personnel but also are treating them very decently. That is more than the American prisoners get from their own government. That is enough for now until the incident is thoroughly investigated.

as a common chinese, the same result about bomb of chinese embassy at Yugoslavia is not what we want to see again.
we need stabllization for national development, but fight could be our decision if it was necessory.

China has the rights to inspect the spy planes.
The U.S.A should appolize to Chinese people!
Both sides should keep calm and find proper ways to deal
with this serious incident!

i hope the two sides can sit down and settle down the matter with a calm mind and through diplomatic channels. China's sovereignty should not be violated by any other foreign powers.

When the Chinese ship carrying hundreds of Chinese illegal immigrants ran aground off New York, the American police took them into custody and put them in jail. They stayed there for a long time. Frankly, I don't know what eventually happened. But they were not immediately released. They were put in jail. So far the spy crew has not been put in jail and is being treated better than the Chinese immigrants.
