Theme: ImagiNation

The design of the Australia Pavilion is inspired by Australia's most significant natural landmark—Ayers Rock. The pavilion's steel fa?ade can change colors according to the temperature. The pavilion takes visitors through a journey that showcases Australia's culture, history and cuisine; the pavilion demonstrates Australia's dynamic and modern cities as well as introduces Australian innovations in the areas of urban development and expansion.

Indonesia

Theme: Indonesia Biodiver City

The Indonesia Pavilion is completely covered with bamboo shafts; bamboo also grows naturally out of the pavilion's ceiling. The design came from the daily life of local people in Indonesia, as many of the homes in the country are made out of bamboo. The four-story pavilion houses a performance stage, an auditorium and a multimedia theater, which introduces visitors to Indonesia's rich marine resources and diverse cultural heritage.

Malaysia

Theme: One Malaysia, City Harmonious Living

The two-story Malaysia Pavilion is built in the style of a traditional house of the Minangkabau people, combining the architectural styles of Sarawak longhouses and Chinese temples. Its dramatic curved roof incorporates a traditional Malaysian dyeing technique that uses particularly vivid colors and designs. The pavilion showcases the diverse history and culture of Malaysia as well as its rich gastronomic tradition and abundant natural resources.
