Taihe Forum
In 2016, the Palace Museum launched the Taihe Forum on Protecting the World's Ancient Civilization as an international exchange and cooperation platform in the field of cultural heritage. The forum is committed to discussing issues concerning cultural heritage preservation around the world, promoting exchange and cooperation in the realm of cultural heritage, and optimizing the role of the world's ancient civilizations in driving the development of human society today.
At the inaugural Taihe Forum in October 2016, the Palace Museum published the Taihe Declaration in partnership with participating countries and international organizations, with an aim to promote the protection and development of human civilizations and call for mutual respect and collaboration among countries to build a harmonious world together.
By the end of 2023, the Taihe Forum had been held six times, bringing together insights from experts and scholars from museums and research institutes in more than 20 countries, including China, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, and Iran, creating a positive, extensive impact on global cultural heritage conservation.

太和論壇
故宮博物院于2016年發起“太和·世界古代文明保護論壇”,該論壇是文化遺產領域國際合作交流平臺。論壇致力于探討當今國際環境下世界各地文化遺產保護方面存在的問題,促進文化遺產領域的交流與合作,推動世界古代文明在當今人類社會發展中持續發揮作用。
2016年10月,在首屆論壇上,故宮博物院同與會國家及有關國際組織共同發布了《太和宣言》,旨在促進人類文明保護與發展,倡導各國相互尊重、彼此聚合,共筑和諧世界。截至2023年年底,論壇已舉辦六屆。共匯集來自中國、埃及、希臘、意大利、印度、伊朗等20余個國家的博物館、科研院所的專家學者的真知灼見,在國際文化遺產保護領域產生了積極廣泛的影響。
