Eight Other Political Parties
The eight other political parties are close companions of the CPC. They accept the CPC's leadership and work closely with the CPC. They are the CPC's sound advisers, helping hands, and colleagues that participate in state governance under socialism with Chinese characteristics. Their basic functions are participating in and deliberating on the administration of state affairs, exercising democratic oversight, and engaging in political consultation under the CPC's leadership.
These political parties were founded between 1925 and 1948 during the Chinese people's fight against imperialism and autocracy and pursuit of democracy. They have played a unique role in China.
The eight political parties are:
? Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang;
? China Democratic League;
? China National Democratic Construction Association;
? China Association for Promoting Democracy;
? Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party;
? China Zhi Gong Party;
? Jiusan Society;
? Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League.
They each have their central, local and primary-level organizations.
Following the principles of long-term coexistence, mutual oversight, sincerity, and sharing woe or weal, the CPC and other political parties have created a multiparty cooperation system in which the CPC exercises state power and the other parties participate fully in the administration of state affairs under the leadership of the CPC. The system has displayed unquestionable strength and vitality in China's political and social life.
民主黨派
民主黨派是接受中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、同中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨通力合作的親密友黨，是中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨的好參謀、好幫手、好同事，是中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義參政黨。民主黨派的基本職能是參政議政、民主監(jiān)督、參加中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的政治協(xié)商。
各民主黨派在反帝愛(ài)國(guó)、爭(zhēng)取民主和反對(duì)獨(dú)裁專制的斗爭(zhēng)中先后建立，不斷發(fā)展，發(fā)揮著獨(dú)特的作用。
中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的多黨合作和政治協(xié)商制度中包括中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨和八個(gè)民主黨派。八個(gè)民主黨派是：中國(guó)國(guó)民黨革命委員會(huì)、中國(guó)民主同盟、中國(guó)民主建國(guó)會(huì)、中國(guó)民主促進(jìn)會(huì)、中國(guó)農(nóng)工民主黨、中國(guó)致公黨、九三學(xué)社、臺(tái)灣民主自治同盟。各民主黨派的組織機(jī)構(gòu)由中央組織、地方組織和基層組織所構(gòu)成。
在中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的多黨合作和政治協(xié)商制度中，中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨與各民主黨派長(zhǎng)期共存、互相監(jiān)督、肝膽相照、榮辱與共，共同致力于建設(shè)中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義，形成了“共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、多黨派合作，共產(chǎn)黨執(zhí)政、多黨派參政”的政治格局。中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的多黨合作和政治協(xié)商制度在中國(guó)的政治和社會(huì)生活中顯示出獨(dú)特的政治優(yōu)勢(shì)和強(qiáng)大的生命力，發(fā)揮了不可替代的重大作用。
