Qilu Evening News (齊魯晚報)

The Jinan-based Qilu Evening News comes in fifth on our list with a daily circulation of 1.67 million. Founded on New Year's Day, 1988, the paper is distributed throughout Shandong Province, where it is the dominant daily in terms of both circulation and advertising revenue. Former Chinese leader and economic reformer Deng Xiaoping wrote the masthead for the Evening News, which is one of 11 papers published by the Dazhong Newspaper Group. It also publishes a website with an electronic version of the print edition.
