Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) is one of the prestigious universities in the country that specializes in international studies and one of the key institutions of higher education in Guangdong Province in South China. The university was established in June 1995 through the merger of Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages and Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Trade. GDUFS offers 56 undergraduate majors, including English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, international economics and trade, and finance. The university has a teaching staff of 1,177, together with more than 60 foreign professors and 80 visiting professors. GDUFS now has 20,387 full-time undergraduate students and 1,561 Master or PhD students. In addition, the number of continued education students, training course students and foreign students has exceeded 17,000.

廣東外語外貿大學是國際問題研究方面的一所著名大學，也是廣東省高等教育的重要機構。學校建于1995年，前身是廣州外國語學院和廣州對外貿易學院。學校現有3個校區：北校區、南校區和大朗校區，總面積2290畝。學校現有20個教學單位，設有56個本科專業（英語、法語、德語、俄語、西班牙語、國際經濟與貿易、金融學等），分布在文學、經濟學、管理學、法學、工學、理學、教育學、藝術學8大學科門類。學校現有編制內專任教師1177人，還聘有80余位客座教授和60多位長期外籍專家。現有在校全日制本科生20387人，博士、碩士研究生1561人，各類成人本專科生、進修及培訓生、外國留學生17000多人。
