Sichuan International Studies University

Founded in 1950, Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) has grown from a Russian college with only one major subject into an international studies university that offers a dozen foreign language courses, including Russian, English, French and Japanese, while specializing in a dozen other disciplines such as translation, law, journalism, radio and television and advertising. Currently, SISU has 14,000 full-time students and it boasts a strong contingent of devoted, qualified and experienced teachers with a high academic level and inter-college exchanges have been established between SISU and more than 60 universities in other countries, including the United States, UK, France, Russia and Australia.

Apart from its academic advantage, the university also boasts quite and beautiful surroundings, covering an area of 70 hectares at the foot of Gele Mountain, a picturesque scenic area by the Jialing River.

四川外語學院始建于1950年，坐落在嘉陵江畔、歌樂山麓，占地70余公頃，環境幽雅，景色秀麗。學校經過60多年的發展，已從最初專業單一的俄語專業學校發展成為擁有俄語、英語、法語、日語等多語種，翻譯、法學、新聞學、廣播電視新聞學等多專業，包括研究生教育、本?？平逃?、高等職業技術教育、繼續教育及強化培訓等多形式、多層次辦學的外國語大學。學校擁有一支學術水平高、教學經驗豐富、敬業精神強的師資隊伍。學?，F有在校學生14000余人。學校與美國、英國、法國、俄羅斯、德國、日本、澳大利亞、西班牙、意大利、韓國、古巴、埃及等國家的60余所大學建立了校際交流關系。
