Samsung's i9000 Galaxy S has sold over 7 million units to date.

The Samsung i9000 Galaxy S is an Android-based smart phone, featuring the 1 GHz "Hummingbird" processor along with an 8 or 16 GB internal Flash memory, a 4.0-inch (100 mm) Super AMOLED touch screen and a PowerVR graphics processor yielding 90 million triangles per second, making it the fastest graphics processing unit of any Android phone to date.

The Super AMOLED touch screen is a WVGA PenTile display manufactured by Samsung which uses the latest technology to increase screen brightness by 20 percent allowing for easier viewing while outdoors on sunny days.

The i9000 Galaxy S provides a complete set of software services including the Layar Reality Browser, a program that visualizes GPS directions, as well as Aldiko, an ebook reader that can satisfy younger people's needs.
