He said that the current pattern of global economic development needs currency diversification that allows currencies besides the US dollar to play a bigger role. |
據新華社報道，全國社會保障基金理事會理事長戴相龍周六表示，人民幣國際化是推進世界貨幣體制改革的重要一步。他表示，當今的國際經濟發展格局需要貨幣多元化，即：讓美元以外的其它貨幣發揮更大的作用。 |

The internationalization of the renminbi will take 15 to 20 years, Dai said, suggesting an expansion of the overseas circulation of the renminbi and acceleration in the opening of China's large commercial banks to speed up the process. |
