White Rabbit Milk Candy returns to Beijing

A new batch of White Rabbit milk candies restocked supermarket shelves in Beijing on Thursday, October 23, 2008. The new candies, made from quality milk powder, have been sealed in new packages tagged with a green mark exclaiming 'melamine-free product, safe to consume.' The candy's producer, the Guanshengyuan Company, halted all sales of White Rabbit Candy and recalled all domestic and overseas products immediately after the candy tested positive for melamine.

The White Rabbit milk candies re-entered the markets in Shanghai on October 16 with a green label on its packaging to show the product is melamine-free.
