A new batch of White Rabbit milk candies restocked supermarket shelves in Beijing on October 23, 2008. The new candies, made from quality milk powder, have been sealed in new packages tagged with a green mark exclaiming "melamine-free product, safe to consume." The candy's producer, the Guanshengyuan Company, halted all sales of White Rabbit Candy and recalled all domestic and overseas products immediately after the candy tested positive for melamine.
