Weekly Weather Forecast (December 20–26)

Northwest China: Over the week, northern and western Xinjiang will see more snow, mostly light to moderate but heavy in some areas. December 20 to 21, the rest of the region will get light to moderate snow with force 4 northerly winds and a drop in temperature. December 25 to 26, the same areas will continue to see light to moderate snowfall with heavy snowfall expected in some parts, accompanied by force 4 to 5 northerly winds. Most of the region will be sunny to cloudy for the remainder of the week.

 

North China: Affected by streams of cold air, from December 20 to 21, most of the region will have light to moderate snowfall with force 4 northerly winds and cold temperatures. December 23, most parts will be sunny to cloudy. December 24 to 26, most of the region will continue to experience force 4 to 6 northerly winds.

 

Northeast China: December 21 to 22, southern parts will receive light snow while the rest of the region will get force 4 northerly winds and a drop in temperature. December 23, most areas will be sunny to cloudy. December 24 to 26, some of the eastern and northern portions will see light to moderate snowfall while most of the northeast will experience force 4 to 6 northerly winds.

 

Central China: December 21 to 23, most of the region will see light to moderate rainfall or snow, while some southwest parts of Hubei Province and northern Hunan Province will experience heavy rainfall. Most areas will see sunny to cloudy skies for the remainder of the week.

 

East China: December 22 to 24, most of the region will receive light to moderate rainfall or snow, while southern Jiangsu Province, northern parts of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces and some of northern Jiangxi Province will see heavy rainfall or snow. Most areas will be dominated by sunny to cloudy weather for the remainder of the week.

 

South China: December 21 to 23, most of the region will have light rainfall, while some of Guangxi will see moderate rain. Most parts will be mainly under cloudy skies with possible showers in some areas for the remainder of the week.

Southwest China: December 20 to 22, eastern parts will see light rainfall with moderate rain expected in some of Guizhou Province. December 24 to 26, some eastern areas will continue to experience light rainfall. Most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy weather for the remainder of the week.
