CPPCC Members
The National Committee of the CPPCC is composed of representatives from the CPC and other political parties, prominent individuals without party affiliation, people’s organizations, ethnic minority groups, compatriots in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan, returned overseas Chinese, and other sectors of society, as well as specially invited individuals. They are divided into a number of participating sectors.
The compositions of the local committees are modeled on the National Committee in line with local conditions.
The members of the CPPCC National Committee are decided by the Standing Committee after certain procedures. Likewise, those of the local committees are decided by the standing committees of the local committees. These members have the right to vote and stand for election at their meetings and the rights to voice opinions, express criticism, and make proposals to their committees.
政協(xié)委員
中國(guó)人民政治協(xié)商會(huì)議全國(guó)委員會(huì)由中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨、各民主黨派、無(wú)黨派人士、人民團(tuán)體、各少數(shù)民族和各界的代表，香港特別行政區(qū)同胞、澳門(mén)特別行政區(qū)同胞、臺(tái)灣同胞和歸國(guó)僑胞的代表以及特別邀請(qǐng)的人士組成，設(shè)若干界別。中國(guó)人民政治協(xié)商會(huì)議地方委員會(huì)的組成，根據(jù)當(dāng)?shù)厍闆r，參照全國(guó)委員會(huì)的組成決定。
中國(guó)人民政治協(xié)商會(huì)議全國(guó)委員會(huì)委員經(jīng)相關(guān)程序后，須由中國(guó)人民政治協(xié)商會(huì)議全國(guó)委員會(huì)常務(wù)委員會(huì)協(xié)商決定。地方委員會(huì)委員經(jīng)相關(guān)程序后，須由各級(jí)地方委員會(huì)常務(wù)委員會(huì)協(xié)商決定。全國(guó)政協(xié)委員和地方政協(xié)委員在本會(huì)會(huì)議上有表決權(quán)、選舉權(quán)和被選舉權(quán)；有對(duì)本會(huì)工作提出意見(jiàn)、批評(píng)、建議的權(quán)利。
