options.
A number of restaurants in Shanghai feature special V-Day
dinners. To check them out, here is the Valentine's Day dining
listings. If you're looking for a romantic dinner-or to just merely
go through the motions to avoid having a "serious talk"-head on
over and check them out. Lots of high end options, most notably in
those classy, "East meets West, your bank account meets bankruptcy"
Three and Five on the Bund buildings, but there are also some deals
in there for the more frugal couples in Shangers. If you're looking
to have a romantic evening in but don't feel like cooking yourself
check out the Flying Chef, an in-house catering service.

think of anything else to get your partner.
There's also a slew of parties in Shanghai's finest bars and
clubs catering to the dissenters, the depressed, and the
undateable. Singles, it might finally be time to drop your
standards and expectations entirely lest you end up sad and alone,
with your neighbors finding your body -- weeks after you've
expired-empty Diet Coke cans littered about your feet, Mint Choc
ice cream slopped all over your chest, and the DVD screensaver
graphic still bouncing about the television screen on its unending
quest to hit the corner perfectly.
So get out there. We both know you're not getting any younger.
Scrape the bottom of the barrel, go below the barrel, scrape the
floor under the barrel, and then dig even lower. Get ready for a
full night of palpable and drunken desperation and head on over to
the event listings.
