To build excitement for the sequel, Disney has partnered with China's Shanghai Animation Film Studio to create "A Day in the Life of Zootopia," a series of four promotional animated shorts featuring fan-favorite characters. The collection will release on China's major streaming platforms in November, timed with the film's global premiere.
Four Chinese animators and their teams from Shanghai Animation Film Studio will each use distinct traditional techniques — stop-motion, ink wash, 2D and paper-cut animation — to reveal new perspectives of the animal metropolis through locally resonant storytelling.

Disney also launched immersive offline experiences across China, including Zootopia-themed shopping areas and pop-up venues.
Starbucks China partnered with Disney's Zootopia in June, launching three limited-edition Iced Shaken Teas inspired by the film's themes of breaking stereotypes and self-discovery. The collaboration includes themed snacks, merchandise and immersive store experiences. Fans can visit the Zootopia-themed flagship at Beijing Taikoo Li or one of 36 themed stores across China to join Judy, Nick and Officer Clawhauser for a summer celebration.
