'Mystical Pagoda' exhibition displays gold microcarvings by artist Mei Hua

"Dancing Lions for Auspicious Blessings," a multifaceted micro-sculptural work combining timepiece, jewelry and totem, on display at NUO Hotel Art Space, Beijing, July 14, 2025. Conceived as a celebration of Chinese vitality, the piece reflects Mei Hua's desire to reframe traditional culture through an international lens — challenging the West's oversimplified view of Chinese aesthetics. In the future, Mei Hua plans to release a piece of high-end jewelry with a traditional Chinese cultural theme every year, breaking away from religious restrictions, interpreting Chinese culture with an international aesthetic.
