Guangdong takes various measures to boost robot industry

6月25日，在深圳市眾擎機器人科技有限公司，人形機器人揮舞手臂致意。近年來，廣東加快開展具身智能機器人及關鍵技術的應用示范和推廣，組建廣東省具身智能機器人創(chuàng)新中心，促進人工智能與機器人在醫(yī)療健康、人才教育、城市管理、特種工業(yè)等領域持續(xù)創(chuàng)新，支持佛山、東莞、珠海等地發(fā)揮生產制造優(yōu)勢，建設機器人生產基地。據(jù)廣東省工信廳統(tǒng)計，2024年廣東工業(yè)機器人產量超24萬臺（套），產量同比增長31.2%，連續(xù)五年穩(wěn)居全國第一，占全國市場總量的44%。[新華社記者 鄧華 攝]

The application and promotion of embodied artificial intelligence robots has been gaining speed in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and a provincial embodied artificial intelligence robot innovation center was established in Shenzhen. In addition, cities like Foshan, Dongguan and Zhuhai are encouraged to give full play to their manufacturing advantages to build robot production bases. Guangdong's industrial robot output exceeded 240,000 units in 2024 with a year-on-year increase of 31.2 percent, ranking first in the country for five consecutive years, according to the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province.
