BEIRUT -- Four members of the Lebanese group Hezbollah were killed Thursday afternoon in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting Hezbollah positions in eastern and southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese security sources and Hezbollah.
Lebanese security sources confirmed to Xinhua on Friday that the four Hezbollah members were killed in an airstrike that hit a Hezbollah position in the Jarmaq/Al-Aaishiyah axis, which is part of the city of Jezzine, deep in southern Lebanon. (Lebanon-Israeli Strikes-Hezbolla)

KABUL -- The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) has provided humanitarian aid to over 4 million vulnerable people across the country during the past year, the state-owned Bakhtar News Agency reported Friday.
According to the report, around 4.69 million people affected by poverty and conflict received financial, food, and non-food assistance over the past 12 months. The ARCS also delivered health services to more than 3 million individuals across the country during the same period. (Afghanistan-Aid)

HANOI -- Vietnam will continue trade negotiations with the United States to finalize a reciprocal trade agreement based on openness, equality, mutual respect, and consideration of each country's development level, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said Friday.

ISLAMABAD -- At least five policemen were killed in an overnight attack by armed bandits on a police checkpoint in Pakistan's eastern province of Punjab, police said on Friday.
