LOME, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Togo is willing to work closely with China to elevate their comprehensive strategic partnership further, Togolese President Jean-Lucien Savi de Tove has said.
When receiving the credentials of China's newly appointed ambassador to Togo Wang Min, he said here on Tuesday that Togo attaches great importance to its relations with China and expressed appreciation for China's long-standing support for Togo's economic and social development.
For her part, Wang said that China and Togo enjoy a profound traditional friendship, and under the strategic guidance of both countries' leaders, bilateral ties continue to deepen and solidify.
China is ready to work with Togo to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of two states and the outcomes of the Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation held in Beijing, in a bid to push bilateral relations to new heights and make greater contributions to building an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era, she said.
