VALLETTA, April 30 (Xinhua) -- Artificial intelligence (AI) and drones will be deployed to further improve Malta's cleanliness, Prime Minister Robert Abela announced on Wednesday.
During a conference organized by the Cleaning and Maintenance Division, he also launched equipment purchased through an investment of 17 million euros (19.3 million U.S. dollars) to help maintain cleanliness across Malta.
Abela explained that the government's investment project includes a drone system that can detect waste from the air, thus speeding up the cleaning process, particularly in rural areas that are difficult to access. Enditem
