Almazbek Atambayev, deputy prime minister of the Kyrgyz interim government, left on Friday for Moscow to meet Russian officials, the Interfax reported.

The aim of Atambayev's trip was unknown but well-informed sources said he traveled to Moscow for economic aid.

Kyrgyz opposition parties claimed to form an interim coalition government on Thursday, while President Kurmanbek Bakiyev refused to step down after clashes that left at least 76 people dead and 1,520 others injured.

There were continuous incidents of burning and loot.

The interim government led by former Foreign Minister Roza Otunbayeva would replace the government of Bakiyev, who fled the capital to southern Kyrgyzstan after a day of bloody unrest.

The interim national security authorities said on Friday that the unrest in the capital Bishkek was provoked by Bakiyev's supporters.

The service of public transportation has resumed on Friday in Bishkek after Wednesday's unrest, Xinhua correspondents witnessed.

On Thursday, the Manas International Airport near Bishkek reopened and flights had been resumed.

The situations in the Central Asian country have raised global concerns, as several countries demanded return to peace as soon as possible.
