With 2 years of planning and 4 years of filming, the "Oceans" documentary has attracted a great number of viewers around the world. Now the film will be released in China starting August the 12th. Let's hear what the film's two directors had to say at a press conference on Monday.

After the success of "Winged Migrants," Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud are backed with ground-breaking filming resources. Now the pair are leading us into the ocean depths to discover unknown or unrecognized marine creatures. The movie is like a wildlife opera with fish, dolphins and whales dancing in the deep. Comments in the media express amazement at how they got such wonderful footage and captured so many angles.

Jacques Perrin, Director & Producer of "Oceans" said, "Our casting team has reached the same speed as the marine animals like dolphin and tuna, which slice through the sea at considerable speed. We always see them pass, but we have never before experienced such fascinating speed. This is what we wanted to do at that time in the movie."

The cooperative projects between the two directors in recent years have mainly focused on environmental protection. They are trying to express from the marine animals' angle the serious impact of man-made pollution to the oceans, and send a message of hope that if we protect the oceans well, the beautiful images in this movie will always exist.

Jacques Perrin said, "What we are looking for with this film is to convince with images and emotions, so that the public can feel it in front of these birds, whales and fish. And at that moment, the spectator will decide to do something for environmental protection."

The documentary takes us on a relaxing and mysterious trip, deep beneath the ocean. But, it also teaches us how important it is that we take action to reverse the damage that has been done.
