The 2nd National Jump Rope Competition will be held in July in Langzhong, Sichuan province. A press conference for the coming event was held in Beijing earlier Tuesday.

About 250 teenagers will take part in the 6 day competition. Unlike the 1st National competition, which consisted mainly of athletes from professional Jump Rope clubs, the second national competition will feature just teenage competitors.

In the press conference, jump rope teams from Beijing the No. 71 middle school gave performances. They will also take part in the coming national competitions.
