Two people were found dead in a Chicago home owned by actress Jennifer Hudson and her mother. US media reported the two victims were Hudson's brother and mother.

An alert has been issued for Julian King, a missing 7-year old boy believed to be Hudson's nephew. Media reports said Hudson was in Florida when she was told of the shootings and was headed back to Chicago.
