Greece has sent its best wishes to the Beijing Olympics. Looking back, officials from the previous Olympic-host country say the Athens Olympics helped improve local transport and environment.

They also say the Games enhanced the country's reputation globally. The host of the 2004 Athens Olympics wishes the 29th Beijing Olympic Games great success.
