China Global Think Tank Innovation Summit opens

The 2017 China Global Think Tank Innovation Summit kicked off in Qingdao, a coastal city of east China’s Shandong province. More than 70 experts from 20 countries attended the summit and contributed forward-looking suggestions for the city’s development. The event was hosted by the Qingdao municipal government, Center for China and Globalization, and Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of University of Pennsylvania. The summit aims to build a platform to promote the exchanges and give advice on the city’s transition to new from old economic engines.
