Qingdao has entered ‘fourth nine period (the fourth nine-day period after the winter solstice)’ from the ‘third nine period’ today. The citizens didn’t feel the howling wind or the freezing dripping water during the so called frosted ‘third and fourth nine periods’. This is the warmest winner in Qingdao since 2001. The daytime temperature has been over 0 degrees Celsius in Qingdao.

The fine weather brought by the ‘warm winter’ attracts a great number of climbers to North Nine Water of Laoshan Mountain to enjoy the ‘mixture of water and ice’.
