Located where the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau transitioning to Sichuan Basin, the region spreads across urban areas and pristine natural environment and boasts rich biodiversity and cultural diversity.

 

A great many tourist attractions including national parks, leisure farms, and traditional cultural relics have opened to the public in recent years as the macrocosm tourism trend continues to develop. The Bifengxia scenic area houses a giant panda conservation and research base and the rolling Mengding Mountain is known for its prolonged history of tea planting.
