Summer is the best time to visit Mount Emei in Emeishan city, Sichuan, for the serene mountain offers a respite from the summer heat among lush vegetation. Endemic to Mount Emei, the resplendent Rhododendron faberi flowers are in full bloom late May, attracting thousands to the Golden Summit daily. At lower altitudes, the Leitongping area could be one of the best places to view the billowing white clouds hemming the mountain throughout the year. [Photo/China.org.cn]
