Blossoming dove trees attract visitors to Pingwu county

Pingwu county in Mianyang city launched a dove tree themed tourism campaign on April 28 in Shuitian Qiang township, one of the best places to admire blossoming dove trees at this time of year. Pingwu is home to 1,200 hectares of wild growing dove trees. Also known as Davidia involucrate, the plant is a precious relic species native to China that has been cultivated worldwide for its high ornamental value. [Photo/China.org.cn]
