China (Sichuan) Int'l Tourism Investment Conference to open in July

The Third China (Sichuan) International Tourism Investment Conference will be held in Chengdu on July 26, it was disclosed when Sichuan Provincial Tourism Development Committee promoted its prime projects in Zhejiang on May 17.

On the occasion, Sichuan will woo investors with its most mature and investment-worthy tourism projects summed up as “10+30+100.”

Ten refers to the ten projects for building industrial parks; thirty refers to the thirty projects involving new forms of business; 100 refers to the 100 prime tourism programs in Sichuan.

Altogether these projects, integrating multiple business forms, cover rural tourism, cultural tourism, medical tours, science tours and low-altitude flying tours.

300 investors from both home and abroad are expected to attend the event.

The first edition of the conference was held in July 2015. The 2015 and 2016 editions were participated by almost 600 leading and famous enterprises from both home and abroad. 57 project contracts worth almost 120 billion yuan were signed. Dalian Wanda, China Youth Travel Service, China Nuclear E&C Group and Overseas Chinese Town are among famous Chinese companies who have invested in Sichuan’s tourism industry.
