Emeishan Leidongping Ski Resort: The resort offers a variety of snow and ice activities between December and late March. During the annual Mt. Emei Ice and Snow Hot Spring Festival, tourists can lie back in hot springs, as well as enjoy the fun of helicopter rides over the snow mountains, golfing, skating and challenging the cold.

Mianyang Huya Grand Canyon: The tourism area offers unparalleled experience for trekking adventure enthusiasts in wintertime.

Jiudingshan Prince Ridge Ski Resort: Located in Mao County, the ski resort is the largest of its kind in southwest China.

Mt. Dawagengzha in Yaan: Mt. Dawagengzha, which means "beautiful holy mountain" in Tibetan language, is located in Baoxing County. It is a perfect vista point to experience nature's beauty in winter.

Mt. Siguniang: It is by no doubt one of the best places to explore winter's magic and power.

Mt. Erlang: The 2nd Mt. Erlang Ice and Snow Festival, which kicked off on December 5 in Tianquan County of Yaan City, will run until Jan. 8, 2017.
