Design on Xichang holiday town launched

Design on the project--"Elevation:1500 Meters" holiday town--was launched on December 1.

The holiday town, located in Xichang City of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, is an important cultural tourism project in the province.

The tourism town, which covers an area of around 200 hectares, is developed by Beijing-based DDXC Group. It will feature tourism products including cultural innovation, theme park, ethnic minority performing arts, special streets and Qionghai Wetland sightseeing.

The project, with a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan, is expected to receive over 3 million tourists every year.

The demonstration area of the project will be unveiled during the Xichang International Torch Festival in July 2017.
