Just love Sichuan!

Around 30 photography enthusiasts from across China gathered to share their favourite works and views in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan, on December 3 , wrapping up the "Just Love Sichuan" event.

Famous Chinese photographer Liu Qiankun shared his experience in disovering the best vista points in the province.

The event, which kicked off on November 9, has attracted the eyes of netizens with an interesting photography contest. It asks participants to post on social networking platforms their favourite work among all photos they take of Sichuan's natural scenery to share the province's beauty with people in the world.

More than 10 million Weibo.com users had viewed the topic by December 3, and fans of Sichuan abroad also joined in the activity on international social media including Instagram and Facebook.

More than 100 travel guide articles and nearly 10,000 photos were submitted during the event.

The event is part of a series of online tourism marketing activities hosted by Sichuan Provincial Tourism Infromation Center.
