Shenzhen OCT Co., Ltd, announced on May 29 in Chengdu City that the company will invest a total of 120 billion yuan to boost innovative and protective development of the three ancient towns of Anren in Dayi County, Tianhui in Jinniu District and Huanglongxi in Shuangliu District.

The company said the three ancient towns in Chengdu are set to be developed under the guiding principle of "culture+tourism+new urbanization" at a roundtable meeting during the 2016 Anren Forum on Culture and New Urbanization held?between May 28 and 29.

The upgrading and development will be based on each town's unique natural scenery and cultural resources.

Anren is well-known for its old historic buildings and museums. It boasts Liu's Manor Museum, the former residence of the big landlord Liu Wencai and the largest landlord manor in modern times. It also has 27 old private residences built during the Republic of China period (1912-1949), 25 modern museums and numerous small private museums. It will be built into China's top town of historical sites and cultural industries.

The investment in Tianhui, the starting point of the Southern Silk Road, will reach 60 billion yuan in total. The town will be built into a new town featuring silk road culture, blending local and international flavors as well as traditional and modern elements.

Huanglongxi, an ancient water town with a long history of 2,100 years, will receive an investment of 50 billion yuan. With quality ecological resources, its development will be themed on water.
