The commodity sales volume during the week-long Lunar New Year holiday totaled 206 million yuan in the city of Lanzhou, Gansu Province, up by 37.45 percent year on year, according to official figures.

The sales volume of food totaled 104 million yuan, accounting for 50.48 percent of the total volume. The sales volume of cosmetics, jewelry and household appliances reached 60.99 million yuan, accounting for 29.6 percent of the total figure. The sales of clothes amounted to 37.03 million yuan, accounting for 17.97 percent of the whole figure.
