Ningxia's government portal www.nxnews.net launched a microblog service wb.nx.cn on sina on July 23 to give netizens access to a wide arrange of information of Ningxia government affairs, enterprises, government officials and celebrity.

The microblog includes sections like My Weibo, Hot Topics, Media Square, Online Interview.

According to Ma Jiang, Deputy Editor of the Ningxia Internet News Center, microblog is an excellent platform for the communication between government and common people, which makes it easier for common people to get information and reveal problems. It supplies more effective measures for government to get public opinions and for media to get news clues.
