Peitian, nestled in the deep mountains of western Fujian Province, is a well-preserved ancient Hakka (Kejia in Chinese) village. Formed between the Ming Dynasty (1368- 1644) and the Qing Dynasty (1616- 1911), the town has a long history of 800 years.
