12. Diqing Tibetan Area International Youth Hostel at Shangri-la 藏地國際青年旅社

Diqing Tibetan Area International Youth Hostel (Zhongdian Traveller Club) is first choice if you want to spend several days in Zhongdian. It is located at 98 Chicika Street, close to Zhongdian Ancient Town. It is a Tibetan architectural style house with crimson and yellow tracery. When you open the door in the morning, your will see the blue sky and amazing landscape. It is the first international youth hostel that joined in the Youth Hostels Association (YHA) in 2003. In 2005, it was recommended by the Lonely Planet China.
