# North Sentinel Island

North Sentinel Island is one of the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal, covering an area of 60 square kilometers. The island is home to the Sentinelese, an indigenous people comprising the most famous wild tribe in the world. They resist any contact with the outside world, and remain virtually untouched by modern civilization.
