Investiture of Gods, one of the 'Top 10 Chinese-language films to look out for in 2016' by China.org.cn.

Co-directed by Koan Hui and Vernie Yeung.

Expected release date: October 2016.

Koan Hui and Vernie Yeung team up with Jet Li for this supernatural action epic, in which Li will battle immortals and spirits. It is based on the 16th Century Chinese novel 'Investiture of the Gods', and comes at a time when the Chinese film market is riding high on mythological fantasy movies like ' Journey to the West' and 'Monkey King'. Starring alongside Li are Shu Qi, Huang Xiaoming, Louis Koo and Tony Leung Kar-fai.
