Jennifer Lawrence, who starred in the Hunger Games film series, topped the Forbes' list of the world's highest paid actresses of 2015.
She earned US$52 million, followed by Scarlett Johansson and Melissa McCarthy with US$35.5 million and US$23 million respectively.
Fan Bingbing, China’s top actress ranked fourth. She is also the only non-American making the list.
Compared with the actor list released by Forbes at the same time, actresses still earn less. Only four actresses passed the US$20 million mark, whereas 21 actors did so.
