The Top 10 Luxury Properties in China 2015 list was released by President Magazine, World Real Estate Academy and World Entrepreneur Group recently.

Most of the villas are located in major cities: three in Shanghai, three in Beijing and four others in Dongguan, Chongqing, Suzhou and Hangzhou.

Although many people who heard the prices may drop their jaws in shock, the price of Chinese villas only accounted for one-tenth of the prices of the top 10 luxury villas in the world.

The ranking includes all luxury villas and high-end apartments in Chinese mainland and was given based on comprehensive scores.

"Air quality around houses is associated with the prices directly," Nobel Prize winner Robert Mundell said.

It is hard to see a rapid increase in prices of luxury villas in China.
