Hong Kong Polytechnic University, established in 1937, is a university with a proud and illustrious history. Formerly known as Hong Kong Polytechnic, the Institution assumed full university status in 1994. Over the years, more than 310,000 students have graduated from PolyU and its predecessors - the Hong Kong Polytechnic, the Hong Kong Technical College and the Government Trade School.
