Charles M. Blow's columns fearlessly tackle contentious issues, such as teen pregnancy, the national debt and President Barack Obama's policies. Blow, who joined the New York Times in 1994 as a graphics editor, once infiltrated a Tea Party rally and wrote a scathing critique of the gathering.
