Qinghai Lake

Qinghai Lake is the largest salt lake in China. Located in northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau at 4,500 meters above sea level, Qinghai Lake is surrounded by four continuous mountains and broad grasslands. The lake has an abundant supply of fish, which in turn attracts large flocks of birds living in nearby wetlands, while yaks and sheep graze on the lakeside grassland.
