The second Soaltee Crowne Plaza annual golf tournament will be held at Gokarna Forest Resort in Nepali capital Kathmandu on Sunday.

Organizers have claimed that 120 amateur golfers from all over the country are expected to participate in the second edition of the tournament.

Talking to Saturday's myrepublica.com, Soaltee Crowne Plaza General Manager Greesh Bindra said: "The main objective of the tournament is to make foundation of big golf tournament in Nepal."

"If things goes as planned, Soaltee Crowne Plaza will organize Crowne Plaza Asia-Pacific Invitational Golf in Nepal which will feature more than 100 golfers of Asia-Pacific circuit."

Crowne Plaza Asia-Pacific Invitational Golf is organized in different venues every year, so if this tournament is held in Nepal, it will bring Nepal into Asian golfing map, said the report.
