The doping tests for all 100m finalists running at the 12th world athletics championships in Belrin, including world record creater and champion Usain Bolt, are negative, the IAAF announced on Wednesday.
"All the test results are negative. Please note that all the athletes involved in this final have also tested negative in all other tests carried out prior to the 100m final," the IAAF said in a written statement.
Earlier on Sunday, Bolt won the final with a stunning world record of 9.58s ahead of America's three-time world champion Tyson Gay and former world record holder Asafa Powell.
The next day, some western media speculated about 100m sprinters' possible involvement of doping scandal.
However, IAAF responded by saying that by that time the samples from the 100m final had not yet been examined by a lab in Koln of Germany.
