Another ten gold medalists, including Olympic champion Damian Warner and world champion Sandi Morris, emerged at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade on Saturday.

After a decisive 1,000m race, Canada's Warner won the men's heptathlon by collecting 6,489 points, ahead of young Simon Ehammer from Switzerland (6,363 points) and Australian Ashley Moloney (6,344).

Morris from the United States confirmed her status in pole vault by reaching 4.8 meters, topping her compatriot Katie Nageotte (4.75m) and Slovenian Tina Sutej (4.75m). Xu Huiqin, China's only competitor at the tournament, ended seventh with 4.45m.

Shaunae Miller-Uibo from Bahamas won the women's 400m final in 50.31 seconds ahead of Dutch Femke Bol (50.57), while Jamaican Stephanie Ann McPherson finished third in 50.79.

Jereem Richards from Trinidad and Tobago won the men's 400m race in 45 seconds, in front of Trevor Bassit from the United States (45.05) and Carl Bengtstrom from Sweden (45.33).

Ethiopian Gudaf Tsegay convincingly triumphed in the women's 1,500m race with three minutes 57.19 seconds, beating two compatriots - Axumawit Embaye and Hirut Meshesha.

Lamont Marcell Jacobs from Italy clocked 6.41 seconds in the men's 60m race and topped two American competitors.

Mariano Garcia from Spain won the men's 800m final with 1:46.20, ahead of Noah Kibet (1:46.35), while Bryce Hoppel ran through the finish line third in 1:46.51.

Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the women's high jump final with 2.02 meters, topping Eleanor Patterson from Australia (2.00m) and Nadezhda Dubovitskaya from Kazakhstan (1.98m)

France's Cyrena Samba-Mayela won the women's 60m hurdles race in 7.78 seconds, in front of Devynne Charlton (7.81) from Bahamas and Gabriele Cunningham (7.87) of the United States.

Darlan Romani from Brazil triumphed in the men's shot put with 22.53 meters, outperforming American Ryan Crouser (22.44m) and Tomas Walsh from New Zealand (22.31m).

The World Athletics Indoor Championships gets underway in Belgrade from March 18 to 20 featuring around 700 athletes.
